Raftaar mein tere chalne se kuchh rooth gaye, kuch chhut gaye.
Roothon’ ko manana baaki hai, Roton ko hasana baaki hai….

Kuch hasraatein abhi adhuri hain, kuch kaam jo bohut zaruri hain.
Khwahishen jo ghut gayi is dil mein, unko dafnana baaki hai…
Kuch rishte ban kar toot gaye, kuch judte-judte chhut gaye.
Un tootte-chhutte rishton ke zakhmon ko mitana baki hai.

Tu aage chal main aata hoon, kya chhod tujhe ji paunga?
In saanson par haqq hai jinka, unko samjhaana baaki hai.

Slow down, oh life! Debts are due to be paid,

Duty has gotto be done and apologies have to be made.

Oh life, in your stampede run, I have upset some and some…have been left behind,

Those anguished, need to be allayed and I must spread cheer and be kind.

There are dreams that are still unfulfilled and work that must be done,

And I still need to bury those wishes that my heart has begun to spun.

Broke off some connections that were made, and some….before they were contrived.

The wounds of those finished-unfinished relationships need to be healed.

I shall come after you….how could I not?
I need to understand those that have the right over my lot.
