What I would have loved to do today, was hop over to the national gamepark (yes, I am lucky enough to live in a city where there is a gamepark right here – probably the only city in the world which has one!) and take my chances in the wild, of spotting a lion or a cheetah or failing that one of the magnificent beasts that roam the safari parks. Not that I don’t have some wonderful shots in the wild – but since the challenge is for today’s photo, I couldn’t post one from the past. 

 That’s the thing about having something in your backyard or easily available ~ we tend to take it for granted. I don’t go as often as I would like to ~ and while thinking of this…the best shot for today seemed to me, of a flying bird…to remind us, we have wings too and we should not take them for granted ~ fly, live, laugh ~ make the best of each moment we have 🕊
